Ever since having my daughter (11 years ago!) I've had the worst time finding jeans that actually fit. I had a great, expensive pair from Trina Turk that I wore until they shredded but couldn't find the same pair again when that sad day arrived.

Have you found a great pair of jeans that fit moms -- but that don't look like "Mom Jeans"? Tell us here!

I had a pair of jeans for like 5 years that I loved... Went to put something in a drawer and they basically ripped to the point of being unfixable.

I haven't found a pair of jeans since then that fit right. I'm 5'0 so I end up cutting the bottoms off of all my jeans. They're too long even if I buy petite. The jeans are tight in the butt and lose around the waist no matter what I do ...

Right now I'm soo soo looking forward to wearing jeans and dressing normally. I had a c-section on the 26th and I'm sick and tired of velour track pants and pj bottoms. I want to be able to dress normally.

I have standards.. Even if they are double

I have that same problem. I have alot of junk in my trunk so I have a hard time finding jeans that fit properly. I think my daughter is going to have that same problem. She is only three but I have to buy her a 6X so that the jeans will pull up properly on her behind. The jeans are always too long & too big for her but fit great over her behind. I don't like for my daughter to bend down & I see her little behind peeking out.

I, too, have the same problem...My hips are wide and I have a tiny waist...I can only wear ONE brand of jean. They are BCBG jeans, and the style is called Famian. I've never seen them in a store, and I'm sure I couldn't afford them even I did. I only buy them second hand on Ebay. Unfortunately, they are hard to find. I search all the time and whenever someone has them for sell in my size I buy them.

I have the same problem! Ever since having kids, my jeans do not fit right. And the way they make the jeans now does not help. They put like 2% spandex in them which sounds great but they fit nice for the first 5 minutes and I'll think that I finally found the right pair but then I spend a few seconds, every 5 minutes, over the next 8 hours I'm wearing them, pulling them up because they keep falling down. But if they're too tight, then they're too tight and I'm uncomfortable. Really, I need to spend a good 15 minutes wearing the jeans in the store to see how they fit but then who knows what will happen once I put them through the wash.

The length is also an issue. I'm 5.2 and jeans are either too short or too long.

Also, the low rise thing is not good. I need something that will hold me in and not let me gross gut fall out over.

I had a pair from NY&Co that fit so well and I completely wore them out. They got so paper thin that they started getting holes in them! sob sob

So needless to say, this is an ongoing battle for me:(

The Gap!  Inexpensive and they have a lot of different styles.  I don't believe in paying more than $40 or $50 for clothes!!

Joe's.  Joe Rocks..... They make them in  numerous styles and they fit athletic type bodies.  You don't have to be a size one for them to look fabulouse.   Find them at Nordstroms, and I always find them at small boutiques in Aspen and Telluride on sale...... Try them you will like them.....

Only kind that I can wear and will pay the price for is Liz Claiborne jeans. I hate the way jeans fit these days..either too low and/or skin tight. Liz has jeans that are not high waisted and the color is classic. I think the color of jeans nowadays look cheap. I'll be glad when the Liz outlet opens this year in Mebane. I miss it!

Wow, I guess I am not the only one having a problem with this.  I think it's the style & cut of jeans today in general because this is the first time I ever had so much trouble! They are not "user firendly!"   It's not like I recently had a baby or gained a lot of weight either.  My old jeans fit great but they are fading fast & wearing thin.  I used to always find the fit of Lee's comfortable & afordable with a variety of styles I liked, but now they are either too tight or too big or both at the same time!  I am reading with interest & will check out the Gap & Nordtroms at the mall.  Thanks!

I'm only 5'2" also so lenght is an issue w/ me too, even petites are too long like sometimes, like above poster said.  I do like Style n Co. , Liz Claiborne, and the new lee flexible ones, but they're too long.  Levis never ever fit!  I've heard Old Navy has some good ones fo r the mom figure, but never tried them.

Cant wait to hear what everyone else says, this is a really important concern for me
